Discovery 2 RF Receiver New YWY 000080 / YWY000080A
The part is suitable for any Series 2 Discovery, either TD5 or V8, fitted with a 433MHz remote control system.
This usually means all UK and European vehicles.
It's a simple plug-in replacement. No coding is required, however when fitting ensure that the earth bolt and wiring harness connector are free from corrosion.
Failure of the original part gives symptoms such as: remote controls are inoperative or have short range, or the remote locking system only works for a brief period after the original receiver is disconnected and then plugged back in again.
